根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》第三十九条，外国人在中国境内旅馆住宿的，旅馆应当按照旅馆业治安管理的有关规定为其办理住宿登记，外国人在旅馆以外的其他住所居住或者住宿的，应当在入住后二十四小时内由本人或者留宿人，向居住地的公安机关办理登记。如果您住在旅馆，由旅馆为您出具《境外人员临时住宿登记表》，如果您在旅馆以外的地方居住，由您居住地辖区派出所出具。
Where can I download the Registration Form of Temporary Residence?
Pursuant to Article 39 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, where a foreign national stays in a hotel within the territory of China, the hotel shall handle the accommodation registration in accordance with the relevant regulations governing the administration of the hotel industry. Where a foreign national resides or stays in a place other than a hotel, the registration shall be completed with the public security authority at the place of residence within 24 hours of check-in, either by the individual concerned or by the person providing accommodation. If you stay in a hotel, the Registration Form of Temporary Residence will be issued by the hotel. If you reside in a place other than a hotel, the form will be issued by the local police station with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
